About Us
The mission of the Junior Golf Association of Arcadia (JGAA) is to ensure access for junior golfers in DeSoto
and surrounding counties regardless of ability, race or economic situation.
JGAA was formed in 2019 in conjunction with the City of Arcadia, it's City Administrator and Council. JGAA is working to provide high level golf instruction and life lessons to area youth, whether they are new to golf or a seasoned player.
A low-cost Junior Membership to Arcadia Municipal Golf Course is available to all youth under the age of 19 and who has not enrolled in college or secondary school. This membership automatically provides membership to the JGAA.
Youth golf club sets are available to use for youth who are just beginning to learn the sport. There are weekly play days for JGAA members, which enables supervised course time for younger members who may not otherwise get course time and live lessons.
Rules clinics are held at no cost to members and are open to non-members at a nominal cost. JGAA helps support the DeSoto High School boys and girls golf teams.
